** Children under the age of 16 and aged pensioners over 67 are bulk billed for standard consultations.
For any other procedures or consultations fees not listed please speak to our Reception staff.
High Street Family Practice adheres to the Medicare Benefits Schedules which stipulates the length of time spent on consultations.

The length of appointment is the amount of time the doctor spends consulting with the patient and is electronically timed and recorded in the patient’s clinical file.
Should you require a longer consultation, please let reception know when making your appointment.

Script Only Requests – These will be dealt with by a Telephone consultation and can be bulk billed if you complete the consent. A token will be sent to your mobile device or faxed to a Pharmacy of your choice. Please allow enough time between script requests so that you are not without your medication
Missed appointments:
- Our policy is to charge $50 for missed appointments not cancelled within 3 hours notice. These charges will be your responsibility and billed directly to you. Please help us to serve you better by keeping your regularly scheduled appointment or advising reception if you are unable to attend.
